Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Logistics and is part of a team supporting supply chain operations across Hamilton Health Sciences sites.  They have a strong focus on customer relations, operational metrics,  goals & objectives, and quality improvement initiatives.  They oversee  the logistics teams’  ordering and replenishment of JIT supply cart system across the site,  the shipping & receiving workflows associated with the receipt and distribution of purchased goods and the maintenance of contingent logistics inventory.   The  Logistics Supervisor works closely with the Purchasing team, hospital staff and leaders,  and with  3rd party supply chain partners to ensure the seamless flow of supplies supporting hospital operations.  

1. Diploma or designation in Materials Management
2. Experienced in healthcare and knowledge of products, systems and procedures
3. Materials Management experience in a large service sensitive organization
4. Proven customer service experience
