Health Care Aide - Clinical

As a member of the healthcare team, provides clinical support in patient care areas. Functions according to the job description for Healthcare Aides.

1. Personal Support Worker or Healthcare Aide Certificate or nursing student with successful completion of all level 2
courses at McMaster University or nursing student with successful completion of all level 2 course in McMaster University
and Mohawk College collaborative program or nursing student with successful completion of all level 1 courses in the
Mohawk College Diploma program.
2. Demonstrated competence with computer skills
3. Demonstrated effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork skills
4. Demonstrated initiative and judgement appropriate for the position
5. Ability to accept assigned or delegated functions
6. Ability to set priorities and organize work accordingly
7. 2 years experience in Critical Care or Acute Care preferred
8. EPIC hospital information system experience preferred
