Description
Reporting to the Director, eHealth, the Program Manager oversees the daily operation of the HITS eHealth Office as regards to its services and programs including direct services to clients, delivery of eHealth solutions and programs and a variety of business services that augment and support these programs, as delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of full-time and contract resources.
Manage and evolve processes for accurate and consistent program monitoring and reporting, supporting the risks and issues management process, overseeing project performance and optimizing program delivery services in alignment with an evolving department business plan, in a complex environment with a diverse group of local, regional and provincial stakeholders; including management of multiple and often interdependent complex projects in collaboration with third party vendors and partners, ensuring that programs realize requisite eHealth related benefits.
This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement, in accordance with HHS’ Remote Work Policy.
2. Certifications in Project Management
3. 10+ years direct work experience in managing all aspects of the project life cycle from inception to close
4. Prior experience with large scale enterprise initiatives
5. Solid knowledge of Project Management methodologies
6. Strong familiarity with Project Management and Microsoft Office Suite of software
7. Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and make use of various tools and related software products
8. Demonstrated experience in personnel management
9. Sound knowledge of current technologies and techniques facilitating the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions
11. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
11. Demonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities and flexible during times of change
12. Demonstrated ability to react to program adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
13. Demonstrated ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
14. Demonstrated ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
15. Demonstrated ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise; be persuasive, encouraging and motivating
16. Demonstrated ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity
17. Strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills and tenacity
18. Adept at conducting research into program related issues and products
19. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
20. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
21. Customer service skills an asset
