Contracts Analyst

Reporting to the Legal Counsel & Director of Contracts at PHRI, the Contracts Analyst will provide administrative support for all contracting activities at PHRI, including but not limited to:
1. Manage email correspondence in a shared departmental Microsoft Outlook inbox, such as:
o Review and respond to emails from internal stakeholders (e.g. scientists, study coordinators, research assistants) and external parties (e.g. international researchers, contracts offices, universities)
o Perform any administrative actions required
o Assist Contracts Specialists/negotiators in moving files forward in the contracting cycle
2. Process contracts and related documents, in both English only and Bilingual (i.e. English with translations), such as editing, proof-reading, finalizing, getting signatures, and filing
3. Maintain accurate records of the negotiation process (e.g. steps, timelines) of each contract in PHRI’s electronic databases
4. Work on Special Projects and other general administrative tasks, as required


Qualifications

1. College diploma for office administration or related experience (minimum 2-3 years).
2. Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Ability to prioritize, problem solve and apply judgement.
4. High attention to detail and ability to maintain a great degree of accuracy.
5. Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and tact.
7. Advanced oral and written communication skills.
