Clinical Manager

This position will have specific responsibility for supporting the Integrated Stroke program which will involve either the the inpatient stroke acute or rehabilitation services. 

The Clinical Manager functions according to the Accountability Statement for Clinical Managers. Specific responsibilities include: managing the day-to-day issues related to staffing and care delivery while facilitating an environment which supports creativity and innovation in the delivery of patient care services; assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of the operational vision for the Program within the context of the corporate vision and strategic direction; demonstrating behaviours that support a patient and family-centered team approach; supporting an environment which facilitates staff involvement in research initiatives; assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of a program plan (financial, human and facilities) which is consistent with the program directions; and assisting the Program to meet the fiscal operational targets.  The clinical manager leads the team in preparation for stroke distinction with identification of quality improvement initiatives required to meet stroke distinction standards.
