- Responsible for day-to-day receipt, processing and interpretation of samples submitted for Flow Cytometry testing
- Responsible for troubleshooting testing order inconsistencies with SOP
- Works directly with the Charge Technologist for Flow Cytometry and Hematopathologist
- Assists in referred-out testing for Flow Cytometry as required
- Assists with monitoring inventory not limited to supply levels, receiving stock and lot controls
- Works with the Charge Technologist to assist with validation of new processes and procedures and related SOPs
- Responsible for QC activities and documentation for Flow Cytometry as required by the Charge Technologist

- Current general registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario required
- Recent clinical experience of 3-5 years in Flow Cytometry, including sample preparation and analysis
- Must be proficient in all aspects of manual and automated specimen preparation
- Must be proficient in pipetting and production of manual antibody cocktails
- Must be proficient in all aspects of analysis software for sample acquisition and analysis of multi-colour data
- Must be proficient with lot validation and all aspects of QC, including voltage and compensation
- Experience in routine lab equipment not limited to centrifuges, BSC, Fumehood and vortex
- Must be aware and adhere to all required lab safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively as a collaborative member of a team
- A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Good employment and attendance record required
Status: Permanent Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday - Various rotating 7.5 hour day shifts (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $36.840 to $50.240 per hour
