Job Summary
There is a temporary, thirty-five (35) hour per week position available, with duties effective May 25th, 2026, ending no later than May 25, 2027.
The Temporary Behavior Analyst will provide expertise in providing schools with ABA strategies and transition support for students receiving assistance through the Ontario Autism Program. The candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team centered on students with ASD who are transitioning from Autism Intervention Programs to schools in our board. A strong knowledge base of ABA principles is required. The Temporary Behavior Analyst will also work as a member of the HCDSB‘s multi-disciplinary team and will work in conjunction with the Special Education & Mental Health Services Team to enhance the collaborative practices between the Board and community providers of autism services.

Qualifications / Experience
- Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
- Experience in the application of ABA within a school system.
- Experience with the provisions of adult learning and training.
- Experience working with children and youth with special education, particularly those who have Autism Spectrum
Disorder.
- Well-developed organizational and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated skills working with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This position is covered by the A.P.S.S.P Collective Agreement.
