Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken

 

Support managers in their leadership positions, helping them to develop empowerment and autonomy when faced with HR challenges (conflicts, workforce planning, structuring, hiring requirements, etc.)

 Keep collaborators' files up to date and ensure traceability and compliance

 Provide support and follow-up to employees facing problems and direct them to the appropriate resources

 Provide conflict mediation when required

Acts as a strategic partner to managers to support performance, engagement, and organizational transformation

 Diagnose any issues, coach the manager, and, when required, draft disciplinary measures (disciplinary notice, suspension, termination of employment)

 Analyze and establish terms of termination of administrative employment

 Communicate important HR information

 Understand, take the pulse of team cohesiveness, and serve as the ambassador for successful change

 Know the organization's rules and regulations as well as the Canada Labour Code

 On request, contribute to different HR projects

 Coordinate required actions in case of collaborator's termination of employment

 Bring the organization's culture and values to life

 Analyze collaborators' salaries, ensuring internal equity and propose salary modifications in collaboration with the Pay circle

 Communicate conditions of annual remuneration for major groups                                     

 Ensure follow-up in all sector terminals by traveling to each site

Perform all other related tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a related field

Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience focused on employee and labour relation

Experience in an operational environment (a strong asset - e.g., transportation, logistics, manufacturing)

Strong ability to collaborate with managers and influence decision-making

Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken

Availability to travel to Quebec occasionally throughout the year

Solid understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, talent management, engagement, and leadership support

Advisory and Coaching Skills


Demonstrated experience in employee and labour relations, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations while advising and influencing managers
