Network Engineer - Mobile Private Network - LTE

Description:
Our client in the Manufacturing sector is looking for a Network Engineer with Private Mobile Network - LTE experience.
**Hybrid job with travel to Sept-Il site. **

About the role:
Working in a stimulating environment, your main activities will include:
- Understanding customer use cases and connectivity requirements
- Defining end-to-end connectivity solution scenarios (radio and core network and interconnection to the company's information system)
- Contribute to the development of business cases, providing solution costing elements.
- Definition of technical specifications for end-to-end connectivity solutions
- Participation in calls for tenders for end-to-end connectivity solutions
- Participation in the design and technical deployment phases of connectivity solutions
- Contribute to the training and skills development of operational teams.

What you will bring :
- Proven technical skills in 4G LTE connectivity solutions
- Knowledge of the main technological solutions on the market (Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco, etc.) and corresponding certifications
- Knowledge of regulatory issues related to wireless connectivity in Canada and Quebec (access to frequencies, etc.)
- Ability to balance long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of architecture decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor to establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and potential technology solution partners.
- Experience in delivering connectivity strategy, reference architecture and standards; experience in developing business cases;
- Experience in drafting general engineering documents, validating telecom systems, managing indoor/outdoor coverage studies.
- Experience in coordinating technical teams on telecom network project, operation and maintenance activities
- Experience in influencing key decision-makers or senior managers in a large cross-functional team, using your soft skills in the right way
- Technology watch on major market technology trends

Required:
- + 5 years' experience in enterprise connectivity solution architecture (4G LTE)
- Bilingualism: French and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrable experience in large LTE connectivity integration project, within a large enterprise or equivalent consulting environment.
- Similar experience in a mining or similar project (such as the oil industry) in Canada or North America.
- Good knowledge of computer systems: Windows 9/10/11, Office Suite, etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills. Customer focus and proposition
Must be based in Labrador and Sept-Iles.
