Functional Analyst

Come join more than a hundred experienced CGI experts in consulting services as well as project delivery teams in several of our delivery centers in Quebec. Everyone works together for one of our clients located in downtown Montreal.

- Produce functional analysis documents for the solutions concerned.
- Describe current solutions as a basis for improvements to be made.
- Describe the impacts of new solutions on business processes.
- Provide a description of the actions that must be taken by users in order to operate the system.
- Define the functional configuration parameters of the solution.

• Hold an undergraduate university degree (BAC) in computer science or any combination of equivalent training and experience.
• Have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a functional analyst on web and/or mobile applications:

i. Understanding needs (Understanding the problem)
ii. Design (Developing a solution)
iii. Tests (Tests)
iv. Delivery (User Support)

• Have a good knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence and XRAY.
• Have a good knowledge of cutting and writing user stories.
• Have good knowledge of writing test strategies, test cases and preparation of data sets including anomaly documentation.
• Have good knowledge of supporting a team of developers during production.
• Have a good knowledge of the quality assurance (QA) role
• Have knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Have knowledge of model design.
• Have knowledge of the SAP enterprise integrated management software package, an asset.
