Were looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyones journeys better.Perks at work:No waiting period for medical or dental benefitsRRSP matchingSubsidized mealsFree ParkingFree access to an employee assistance programtake advantage of our corporate discounts such as Good Life Fitness, TELUS Mobility and Bell MobilityCompensation Range: $54,000 to $70,000 gross annual salaryEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Plan daily labour according to production requirements and productivity targetsAssign work and follow up throughout your shift to ensure your teams achieving the planEnsure everything your teams produce meet your internal and external customers requirements (Quality) and are delivered on timeResponsible for safety, quality and compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements and company policies and proceduresProactively seek opportunities to improve upon safety, quality and productivityPlay an active role in minimizing material usageWork independently and with your peers to resolve problems in the supply chainResponsible for hiring, training, performance evaluation, coaching, counseling and preparing corrective action for employees and liaises appropriately with HR and other support functions.Various administrative tasks including creation / review of material requisitions, production sheets, food safety documentation, shift reports etc.Education:High School Diploma or GED required.Culinary training of any sort an assetWork Experience:2+ years supervisory experience working in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing or logistics operation preferredExperience leading in a unionized environment is a plus, but not required.Food related experience an assetSkills:Must have strong and effective leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage a staff of 50+ hourly employees.Strong communicator both verbally and in writingAbility to prioritizeMust have the ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees dailyExcellent time management skills required.Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.If you want to be part of a team that helps make travel and culinarymemories, join us!
