POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the term position of Early Years Teacher at Plum Coulee School from December 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba’s beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
• Prior experience teaching in an early year’s classroom is considered an asset
• Strong experience teaching in a grade 1 or 2 classroom environment is considered an asset
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check The above represents general core qualifications for the position and may vary as necessary to the operations of the school/program.
SCHOOL INFORMATION:
Plum Coulee School is a K-8 school with an enrolment of 230 students and approximately 30 combined professional/support staff. Along with a comprehensive intramural program, Plum Coulee School offers a broad range of extra-curricular options that include such things as soccer, volleyball, basketball, dramas, as well as many others. The school is an integral part of the beautiful town of Plum Coulee, located just 13 kms east of Winkler on Hwy 14.
