Family Physician - Obstetrics - Royal Columbian Hospital

We are seeking two full-time family physicians to join our Maternity Department at Royal Columbian Hospital. We are a collegial group who work closely with our Obstetricians and multiple midwifery groups. There are 3,100 births /year for which we are involved in a significant number. We have a Level 3 nursery and 9 labour rooms in addition to 30 maternity beds. Caesarean sections are performed in the main operating room.

We are well supported by a local Diabetes Education Program and the MFM group. Our hospital is a sought after site for family practice residents, and we work closely with them on call and in our offices. We have an urgent need in our community. There are opportunities to share existing office space within the community.
