Detailed Overview
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
Within the assigned initiative(s), the Advisor supports the design, development and deployment of TDMCS programs for Fraser Health, Provincial Health Services Authority, and Providence Health Care (collectively, �the Organization�). Ensures the assigned initiative complies with sustainable transportation regulations and/or legislation. Provides operational support within the assigned initiative by reviewing TDMCS metrics, facilitating initiative expansion, drafting relevant correspondence, generating complex and detailed reports and presentations, and responding to a variety of sensitive internal and external inquiries within the assigned Transportation Demand Management and Commuter Services initiative.
Responsibilities
- Supports the design, development and deployment of assigned initiative(s) across the Organization. Represents the initiative on internal and external committees and meetings as needed.
- Contributes to the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of TDMCS program, policies, practices and procedures in relation to the assigned initiative for the Organization.
- Coordinates staff engagement and education events on assigned TDMCS initiative for roll out across the Organization. Collaborates with staff and/or volunteers to promote events, and assists in the development of the applicable social media and/or physical campaign materials such as campaign tool-kits or posters.
- Collect metrics and produces reports on assigned TDMCS initiative to evaluate if stated goals and objectives achieved. Forwards reports to the Coordinator and/or designate for review.
- Conducts audits and participates in investigations related to potential abuse of privileges within assigned initiative. Provides information to the appropriate Human Resources leader, the Coordinator and/or other staff as required.
- Gathers relevant information required for correspondence related to Government funding submissions, Service Agreements, Account Reconciliation and Audit reporting, in relation to assigned initiative. Provides completed documents to Coordinator for review and submission.
- Reviews expenditures for budget allocated to assigned initiative. Investigates variances and provides status to the Coordinator and/or other staff.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of information systems related to the assigned TDMCS initiative.
- Responds to a variety of sensitive internal and external inquiries by serving as the primary point of contact for the assigned initiative.
- Remains current on environmental best practices and emerging developments and trends within the assigned TDMCS initiative.
- Liaises with external supports and resources to facilitate assigned initiative, collect data and share information.
- Participates in a supporting role in the administration of Parking and Photo Identification Services as operationally required.
Education and Experience
Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or related field supplemented with a minimum three (3) years' recent, related experience in Transportation Demand Management and Commuter Services for a large institutional or campus environment or large complex multi-site organization; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid BC Drivers License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
