Forklift Operator/General Labour

Our client a leading manufacturer of plumbing materials in Newmarket (Bayview/Mullock area) is looking for Forklift Counterbalance/General Labour for their team.

Job Description:

Completes various production tasks operating forklift counterbalance and general labour duites as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance - loading/unloading, staging, put-aways, supplying skids to production areas.
• Completes production tasks on a rotational basis as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader
• Retrieves and verifies raw materials; follows department procedures to produce, package, label and palletize finished products as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Leader
• Assists in completion of inventory counts as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor
• Completes shipping/receiving documentation as required.
• Completes quality checks and documentation as required
• Identifies and assists in resolving potential Health and Safety risks
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Other duties as assigned
