I'm assisting one of our customers in the distribution sector, in its search for bilingual Operations Coordinator - Logistics.
Main responsibilities :
Order management and transportation - major customers (Rona, Costco, etc)
- Download and process EDI orders (SPS/True Commerce) in Sage.
- Verify inventory levels and coordinate adjustments.
- Process orders for shipment.
- Generate Sage and EDI invoices.
- Coordinate shipments via carriers (TMS, emails, calls).
Logistics
- Update Excel tracking files and ensure daily follow-up.
- Organize special shipments.
- Obtain transport quotes.
Other operational tasks
- Supervise a small team in the customer operations department.
- Follow-up on pick-ups
- Prepare customs documentation
- Answer calls from retail customers.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience (2 to 5 years) in logistics, order processing and EDI coordination.
- Mastery of tools: Sage, EDI (SPS and True Commerce), Shopify, Excel, TMS.
- Excellent ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bilingualism (French/English) required to speak with all our partners in Canada and USA.
- Autonomy, rigor and team spirit.
