International Logistics Coordinator - Import / Export Introduction

I’m Frédérique Tahon, Recruitment Director at FED Supply, specializing in recruitment for logistics, transportation, and supply chain roles.
I’m currently recruiting for a growing company in the B2B logistics services sector, looking to strengthen its international operations team with an experienced and customer-focused profile.

Mission

As an International Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing import and export operations end-to-end, primarily within international transportation.
You’ll work closely with clients, carriers, agents, and internal teams in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating international shipments (import and export), mainly air and ocean freight.
• Managing transportation files from A to Z: bookings, tracking, documentation, and billing.
• Communicating with carriers, agents, airlines, and international partners.
• Monitoring shipments, handling exceptions, and proactively updating stakeholders.
• Reviewing quotes, optimizing costs, and supporting margin protection.
• Preparing and validating customs and regulatory documentation.
• Updating milestones and shipment data in operational systems.
• Providing proactive, solution-oriented customer service.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Your profile

We’re looking for a hands-on international logistics professional who thrives in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
What we’re looking for:
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in international logistics / freight forwarding.
• Solid experience in import and export (air freight preferred; ocean freight an asset).
• Comfortable with logistics systems (CargoWise or similar TMS - an asset).
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
• Autonomous, organized, and team-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English required (international clients and partners); French is an asset.
Working Conditions
• Permanent, full-time position based in Montreal.
• Hybrid work model.
• Flexible schedule, with paid overtime during peak periods.
• Competitive salary, approximately $70,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
• Comprehensive benefits package: group insurance, personal/sick days, telemedicine.
• Friendly, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.
Conclusion
If you enjoy international logistics, fast-moving operations, and roles where autonomy truly matters, this opportunity is for you.
Join a team where your operational expertise will make a real impact.
