Your main responsibilities will include:

Overseeing daily dispatch (35-40 drivers, approx. 80 trips/day locally and 150 trips/week to Toronto).
Coordinating with brokers and external carriers for container deliveries.
Planning and optimizing driver schedules to improve efficiency and manage costs.
Monitoring pickups, deliveries, and driver trip sheets.
Using AS400 and Excel to track operations and ensure accuracy.
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Partnering with customer service and other teams to maintain smooth operations.

What we're looking for:

At least 2-3 years of experience in dispatch/transportation.
Bilingual in French and English (oral and written).
Strong computer skills (AS400, Excel).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Team-oriented, autonomous, and accountable.
PermAnent, full-time position based in Montreal (37.5 hrs/week).

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 8am-4pm (flexible depending on workload), Saturday 6am-12pm.
Initial training Monday to Friday (2-4 weeks).
Hybrid setup: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Friday and Saturday.
Salary: $60K-$65K annually, depending on experience.
Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, life, short- and long-term disability.
Group RRSP: employer contributes 5% if employee contributes at least 2%.
Time off: 3 weeks' vacation, 10 sick days, 3 personal days.
Company phone provided, occasional availability required outside regular hours (compensated).
Holidays: occasional work required (paid at 1.5x).
