Mission
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company recognized for its custom-made furniture and architectural elements, for a Senior Cabinetmaker based in Terrebonne.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Cabinetmaker, your tasks will include:
- Crafting custom wood pieces based on detailed technical plans.
- Assembling furniture and architectural structures with precision.
- Preparing parts for finishing, integrating diverse materials such as metal, glass, and solid wood.
- Collaborating closely with the finishing team to ensure impeccable quality.
- Contributing to continuous improvement processes to enhance manufacturing methods.
Your experience and skills:
- Significant experience in architectural cabinetmaking (minimum 10 years).
- Advanced ability to read and interpret 2D plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials and woodworking techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and finishing quality.
- Team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
Assets:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or specialized training in cabinetmaking.
- Journeyman certification.
Salary
$60,000 to $70,000 annually, based on your experience.
