I'm currently seeking a Production Supervisor (Evening Shift) for a well-established steel and metal structure manufacturing company based in Boucherville.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll play a key role in coordinating evening production activities. You'll supervise a motivated team while taking part in steel structure assembly and welding for large-scale projects.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assign, coordinate, and review team tasks according to production priorities.
- Track project progress and ensure compliance with schedules and quality standards.
- Participate in hands-on production work: assembly, welding, grinding, and packaging.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Provide training and clear instructions to team members.
- Foster a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Repare production reports and maintain effective communication with management.
- Diploma or equivalent experience in metal fabrication, welding, or steelwork.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in the steel manufacturing field.
- Prior team supervision experience in a plant or shop setting.
- Ability to read complex technical drawings (metric system).
- Welding experience (CWB ticket is an asset).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Team-player mindset, resourceful, detail-oriented, and reliable.
