I'm currently looking for a Production Supervisor to join a well-established metallurgical manufacturer located in Laval. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader looking to make an impact in a fast-paced and growing industrial environment.
Your Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all production activities meet planning, quality, and safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate daily production operations to meet performance, quality, and delivery targets.
* Create work schedules and assign tasks based on production priorities.
* Ensure proper availability of tools, materials, and equipment.
* Monitor team performance and foster continuous improvement.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time.
* Maintain compliance with manufacturing processes and quality standards.
* Oversee administrative tasks such as attendance, working hours, and overtime.
* Supervise, train, and mentor production staff to support skill development and engagement.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in production supervision within a manufacturing environment, ideally in metallurgy, foundry or mechanical parts production.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Proactive approach and desire to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
