My name is Marine Passchier, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in technical and manufacturing positions.

I'm currently looking for a Maintenance Director for a well‑established building materials manufacturer based in Saint‑Constant. This is a key leadership role within a large‑scale heavy industry operation.

Reporting to the Plant Management team, you'll oversee all mechanical, electrical, and mobile equipment maintenance activities. Your mission: increase asset reliability, reduce operational costs, and ensure safe, continuous production.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
- Manage the maintenance department budget, cost forecasting, and capital project execution.
- Supervise and develop a strong team of technicians and supervisors, fostering growth and accountability.
- Implement and drive root cause analysis to enhance equipment reliability.
- Promote and uphold safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement standards across the site.

Your Profile :
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 7-10 years in heavy industrial operations (cement, mining, steel, or similar).

Technical skills: solid background with heavy equipment such as rotary kilns, conveyors, crushers, and dust collectors; proficient with maintenance software and Microsoft Suite.

Soft skills: strong leadership, planning, time management, and project management abilities.

Asset: experience in the cement or aggregates industry.

Travel: up to 10 %.
