My name is Marine Passchier, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in technical and manufacturing positions.
I am currently looking for a Junior Manufacturing Project Manager for a renowned manufacturer in the field of mechanical and modular systems.
Reporting to senior management, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and monitoring of workshop manufacturing projects (modular units, pumping skids, combustion systems).
You will act as the point of contact between the customer, design, and production teams to ensure the quality, timeliness, and profitability of projects.
Your main responsibilities:
- Plan and launch projects as soon as orders are received, defining schedules and critical milestones.
- Coordinate kick-off meetings and ensure the availability of materials with internal teams.
- Monitor production progress on a daily basis and adjust priorities according to unforeseen events.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and budgetary requirements.
- Manage financial tracking: labor, materials, progress reports, scope changes.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and external project managers.
- Collaborate with the design and logistics departments to ensure smooth execution through to final delivery.
Experience: No experience required, experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset.
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in production management, building mechanics, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks-an asset
- Knowledge of an ERP system and Lean or Kanban principles-an asset
- Knowledge of planning tools (MS Project, advanced Excel)-an asset.
