Today, I'm recruiting for one of my wonderful clients located in the east of the island near the Préfontaine metro station. The position is permanent and in hybrid mode.

- Manage and upgrade the IT network, including servers, telecommunications, and computer equipment.
- Plan and oversee infrastructure implementation, migration, and consolidation projects, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost control.
- Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect the organization's information assets.
- Ensure continuous security monitoring, detect vulnerabilities, and propose appropriate corrective measures.
- Configure, automate, and document processes related to backups, security (antivirus, antispam), synchronization, and electronic transmissions.
- Install, update, and maintain IT equipment and software.
- Participate in daily operations: review event logs, administer network printers, user accounts, and email.
- Write and update technical documentation as well as standards and procedures related to networking and equipment.
- Conduct penetration tests to assess security posture. - Operate and maintain the organization's SIEM solution.
- Track and manage vulnerabilities using specialized tools.
- Optimize the organization's cybersecurity across projects and operations.
- Perform any other related tasks according to organizational needs.
- Be available to work outside of normal hours, as part of an on-call service every other week.

- Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science
- Demonstrate at least seven years of relevant experience, including five years in computer network administration within an IT department.
- Master cybersecurity concepts and best practices, including NIST, CIS, and ISO 27000 standards.
- Demonstrate advanced expertise with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Master the Microsoft/Azure ecosystem: Active Directory, GPO, DNS, WINS, SCCM, Intune.
- Have networking expertise: LAN, WAN, VLAN, DMZ, ZTNA.
- Have a good understanding of virtualized system administration with VMWare vSphere.
- Have a good understanding of MS-SQL and Maria DB databases.
- Familiarity with wireless networks (Wi-Fi) in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and BAT scripts (an asset). - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios (an asset).
- Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam (an asset).
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively structure information and rigorously prioritize.
- Work independently while demonstrating a strong sense of initiative.
- Demonstrate leadership, creativity in finding solutions, and self-control.
- Maintain positive interpersonal relationships and actively collaborate within a team.
- Adopt a customer-centric approach.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in French, and functional communication skills in English.

* Communication with international clients: As some of our clients are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.
* Collaboration with English-speaking partners: You will be required to collaborate with English-speaking suppliers and partners to track orders and manage contracts.
* Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals, and contracts in English for our international clients.
