I am currently looking for a Tax Analyst for a hybrid role located in East Montreal. If you are eager to grow within a fast-growing international company and value autonomy in your work, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage your strong expertise in Canadian taxation to collaborate on the preparation of income tax returns for the group's entities.
Support transfer pricing calculations.
Participate in tax provision calculations and respond to auditor requests during the annual closing process.
Actively contribute to the management of national and international tax audits.
Maintain tax accounts and perform periodic reconciliations.
Work with HR and Payroll teams to ensure compliance with withholding tax requirements for non-residents.
Prepare and submit sales and use tax reports for Canadian and U.S. entities.
Support tax analysis of various business transactions in accordance with local and international regulations.
Take part in special projects related to acquisitions, tax restructurings, or the digital transformation of the finance function.
Profile Sought:
University degree in Accounting or Taxation.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in taxation.
Strong expertise in Canadian tax concepts within a multinational corporate environment.
Ability to conduct complex tax research and interpret legislation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.
Advanced skills in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables).
Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and/or Power BI is an asset.
