My name is Nassim, and I am a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll roles.

I am looking for a Senior Accounting and Payroll Technician for my client, a company in the construction sector. This is a permanent, on-site position in Saint-Hyacinthe.

Mission

Accounts Payable:

• Manage the complete accounts payable cycle: reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.

• Receive, verify, and enter invoices into the computer system.

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.

• File and archive accounting documents.

• Report any anomalies or special situations to the supervisor.

• Participate in continuous process improvement.

• Collaborate with members of the administrative team as needed.

Accounts Receivable:

• Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring smooth cash collection through meticulous and rigorous file tracking.
• Collect outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding their account statements.

• Reconcile customer accounts.

• Participate in the month-end and year-end accounting processes.

Payroll:
• Prepare, balance, and post payroll entries
• Distribute pay stubs
• Child support
• Group insurance
• River Pension Plan
• FTQ Fund
• Records of Employment
• T4 and Relevé 1 slips
• DAS

Your profile

Education and Experience Required
• College diploma (DEC) in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable)
• Relevant customer service experience is an asset

Skills and Experience Required
• Proficiency in Word and Excel, accounting system (CMEQ Management), Outlook email, and internet browser
• Diligence and punctuality
• Initiative
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work, respect for deadlines
• Respect for confidentiality
• Ability to develop collaborative and trusting relationships with various stakeholders (employees, clients, management, etc.)

PROCESS: Initial interview with Nassim Rouabhi, Recruitment Consultant, followed by interviews with the Human Resources Manager and the Finance Director.
