I am currently seeking a Production Accounting Technician for my client in the eastern part of the island of Montreal. This is a permanent position with a hybrid work model (two days of remote work).
Your responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable for various production subsidiaries
- Verify and enter expense reports, petty cash reports, and mileage reports
- Manage petty cash advances for production teams
- Process payment requests (filming locations, per diems, advances, etc.)
- Participate in processing AQTIS (unionized) and non-unionized payroll: create profiles, validate timesheets
- Provide support for other types of payments (ARRQ, SARTEC, SPACQ, GUILDE, UDA, etc.)
- Produce employment statements
- Update payment tracking tables
- File and archive accounting documents on the server
- Perform all other tasks related to production accounting
- DEC in accounting or equivalent training
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting (in a firm, SME, or related sector)
- Proficiency with accounting tools and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and work in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of the production sector or collective agreements (an asset-training provided)
