My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Payroll Technician for my client, a company on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.
Your main responsibilities:
- Process complete payroll
- Manage time entries and administrative data;
- Update personnel files (hiring, departures, changes);
- Administer leave, insurance and other group programs;
- Perform various tasks related to payments, declarations and deductions;
- Participate in month-end and year-end activities;
- Answer payroll-related questions and follow up with internal stakeholders;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of information;
Profile required
- Self-motivated
- Organizational skills
- Versatility and team spirit;
Skills and experience
- Degree in accounting, administration or equivalent training;
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role;
- Payroll certification (asset);
- Mastery of a payroll and HR system (experience with a recognized ERP preferred);
- Good communication skills in French and English, both oral and written, to interact with teams.
