My name is Romane, and I am a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.

I am looking for a Payroll Analyst for my client, a company in the agricultural sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Rémi or Saint-Hyacinthe, working a hybrid schedule of 35 hours per week with great benefits.

1. Maintains employee records in the payroll system and makes changes to payroll systems in collaboration with the supplier;
2. Processes all relevant documents related to the proper management of employee files and the management of vacation, absence, and sick leave banks in accordance with collective agreements and internal policies;
3. Coordinate and process payroll every two weeks, ensuring the accuracy of configurations and data as well as legislative compliance;
4. Make various accounting entries related to payroll. Prepare various reports required by internal departments, such as absence, productivity, and workforce reports, as well as any other required reports.
5. Prepare disbursement requests for various human resources programs, such as DAS, CNESST payments, group RRSPs, group insurance, vacation pay, etc.
6. Prepares various reports for government authorities related to payroll, such as CNESST, Bill 90, or others, and participates in the issuance and reconciliation of T4s and Relevés 1 at the end of the year;
7. Maintains the books of local and specialized unions and clients of the accounting and tax department;
8. Reconcile accounts, perform analyses, prepare the necessary documents for financial statements, calculate and prepare checks, complete various reports, and respond to requests for information.

* University degree in accounting;

* A minimum of four (4) years of experience with practical experience in payroll processing and invoicing;

* Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax software;

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;

* Excellent written and spoken French;

* Knowledge of the agricultural production sector with respect to financial, tax, and accounting aspects (an asset);

* Confidentiality, rigor, and ethical conduct;

* Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively;

* Results-oriented and detail-oriented;

* Excellent analytical skills;

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

* Contributes to a positive team environment
