I'm Romane, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance positions. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment on the South Shore of Montreal. I am looking for a Financial Controller for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position in Brossard.
More specifically, your day-to-day work with us will include:
* Analyzing monthly variances in capital, operating, and cash budgets
* Coordinating annual external audits
* Coordinating treasury operations
* Leading the annual budget process
* Directing the team to ensure the production of monthly financial reports
* Participating in various special projects, such as the integration of new properties
* Gathering the financial information necessary for sound management
* Responding to requests from both internal and external clients and attending meetings with demanding clients
* Reviewing, analyzing, and approving monthly financial statements (approving journal entries, reviewing balance sheet items, and analyzing variances on results)
* Ensuring that monthly deadlines are met
* Minimum 5 years of accounting experience combined with experience in personnel management
* CPA designation
* Knowledge of Yardi (an asset)
* Perfect bilingualism, both oral and written (80% of client conversations are in English)
PROCESS: First interview with Romane Dumaine, Recruitment Consultant, followed by the Human Resources Manager.
