My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for a Financial Analyst for a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent hybrid position in Brossard.

Main duties:
- Prepare monthly financial analyses and reports for senior management and for the various departments and services;
- Participate in the review of month-end financial statements and in the improvement of the month-end closing process and related analyses;
- Assist the Finance Director in budget production and monthly variance analysis;
- Collaborate in the implementation and monitoring of financial performance indicators aimed at enriching and facilitating decision-making;
- Assist the Finance Director in the development and implementation of various integration and continuous improvement projects;
- Support accounting technicians in their day-to-day work, and back up the team in case of overload or absence;
- Reconcile cash flows on a daily basis;
- Analyze credit files for new customers;
- Prepare and submit monthly GST/QST returns to Revenu Québec;
- Perform monthly reconciliations of inter-company accounts;
- Close work orders once reconciliation is complete;
- Review journal entries entered by accounts payable technicians for expense accounts and request adjustments when required;
- Analyze raw materials received and not invoiced on a monthly basis, and update the system;
- Actively participate in the year-end audit;
- Perform all other related tasks required for the smooth running of the department.

Profile required
Experience and skills required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or administration;
- Accounting designation (CPA)
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position;
- Proficiency in computer tools, including advanced Excel;
- Experience with D365 (an asset);
- Bilingualism (French-English), in order to deal with customers outside Quebec.
