I am looking for an FP&A financial analyst for an insurance company in Laval.
Your tasks will include:
-Managing the annual budget as well as monthly and quarterly forecasts.
-Monitoring revenue, analyzing variances from the budget, and explaining discrepancies to management.
-Preparing and consolidating financial reports for the division's various segments.
-Performing performance analyses (revenue, margins, costs, profitability) by region or business unit.
-Developing and monitoring performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.
-Reviewing and challenging forecasts related to integrations and monitoring synergies.
-Provide ad hoc financial analyses and contribute to strategic initiatives.
-All other related tasks.
Your profile:
-2 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
-Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
-CPA designation (an asset)
-Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Bilingualism in French and English required, to communicate with the head office in Winnipeg
