My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Director of Finance for a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent hybrid position in Brossard.
MAIN DUTIES:
-Oversee accounting, finance, payroll, treasury and tax obligations.
-Develop budgets, produce financial reports, ensure forecasts and analyze variances.
-Manage the finance team and work closely with sales, operations and other departments.
Support decision-making through analysis, performance indicators and strategic projects.
-Participate in audits, ensure compliance and maintain effective communication with parent company.
-Actively contribute to the company's growth via the management committee.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
-Bachelor's degree in finance or any related discipline;
-Minimum 10 years' progressive professional experience in finance;
-Experience in the manufacturing sector;
-CPA accounting designation;
In-depth knowledge of current accounting and tax standards, as well as the specifics of the manufacturing sector;
-Excellent command of computer systems, particularly Excel and ERP (experience with D365 will be considered an asset);
-Bilingualism (French-English), both oral and written, to communicate with teams outside Quebec.
