I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Chief Accountant for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Produce and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Manage cost accounting, inventories, and production variances
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Supervise and support the accounting team
- Work closely with management to support financial decision-making
- Degree in accounting or finance
- Significant experience in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in team management
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
- Rigorous, independent, and analytical skills
- Strong command of English
- Comfortable working in an operational, performance-oriented environment
