I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Assistant Controller for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid position.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Perform accounting entries, reconciliations, and budget analyses.
- Contribute to cost analysis and cost price monitoring.
- Support the management of fixed assets and inventories.
- Prepare financial reports and performance indicators.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments and participate in various financial projects.
- University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation-a major asset.
- Excellent command of Excel and good knowledge of an ERP system (SAP or other).
- Knowledge of financial and logistics modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.)-an asset.
- Rigorous, analytical mind and attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting environment, ideally in manufacturing.
- Functional bilingualism in French and English required to collaborate with international partners.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by interviews with the CFO and Human Resources Manager.
