My name is Caroline, and I am a recruitment consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and understands your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I am looking for an accounting technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode.
- Accounts payable: invoice entry, payment management, card and expense report reconciliation.
- Accounts receivable: account creation, payment recording, invoice issuance, collection support.
- Monthly closings: reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and reports.
- Tax filings and government remittances (Canada/US).
- HR support: onboarding new employees, managing group insurance.
- Degree in accounting or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and account reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and the Office suite.
- Good communication skills, autonomy, and team spirit.
- Bilingual in French/English.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by interviews with the General Manager and Chief Accountant.
