My name is Caroline, and I am a recruitment consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and understands your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I am looking for an accounting technician for my client based in Stanstead. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations: processing invoices, payments, deposits, and receipts.
- Follow up with customers and suppliers, from opening accounts to updating files.
- Participate in month-end closings and the preparation of financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure data consistency in the accounting system.
- Prepare various financial analyses to better understand the company's performance.
- Collaborate with the team to improve internal processes and support decision-making.
- Contribute to various administrative tasks related to the accounting department.
- An organized, curious person who cares about doing a good job.
- Someone who loves numbers as much as precision and who can juggle multiple priorities at once.
- Good interpersonal skills and a true team player.
- Training in accounting (DEP, AEC, or DEC) and solid knowledge of the entire accounting cycle.
- Approximately two years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel; knowledge of Acomba would be a plus.
- Good communication skills in French and the ability to work in English when necessary.
