I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for my client based in Sherbrooke. This is a permanent, on-site position.
- Bookkeeping and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Account for financial transactions, including foreign currency investments
- Manage invoices and customer and supplier accounts
- Process payroll and prepare bank deposits
- Enter accounting data into the various management system modules
- Prepare forms required by government authorities (taxes, records of employment, etc.)
- Organize and file accounting and administrative documents
- Prepare various financial reports and support preparation of year-end statements
- Provide administrative support for day-to-day operations
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as postal and customs documents
- Participate in inventory activities and annual price updates
- Support managers in accounting and administrative tasks
- Collaborate on budgetary processes and annual closing
- Carry out any other administrative or accounting tasks required
- Accounting training (DEP or DEC)
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar position
- Excellent command of Acomba software (essential) and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities well
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Fluent English
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
