I'm looking for an accounting technician to fill a temporary one-year position, 3 days a week, for my client in the healthcare sector. The position will be based in the east end of Montreal.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform month-end analyses, including validation of variances and entries.
- Prepare and post monthly accounting entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other reconciliations.
- Help optimize accounting processes and automate repetitive tasks.
- Create dashboards and monitoring tools using advanced Excel and technological tools.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards in all activities.
Profile required:
- DEC in accounting or bachelor's degree in accounting sciences in progress or completed.
- Very good command of Excel.
- Strong interest in technology (automation, AI, collaborative tools).
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Autonomy, rigor, analytical skills and sense of initiative.
