My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speak your language and operate in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.
I am looking for an accounting clerk for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent face-to-face position in Candiac.
Reporting to the controller, the accounting clerk:
* Responsible for the end of month process for two of the Group's four entities, including: bank reconciliation, recurring entries, balance sheet revaluation and exchange rate
* Management of payables email boxes and collaboration in entering invoices
* Collaborates closely with the payables process to maximize cash discounts
* Carry out invoicing of customer orders and collections
* Quarterly reconciliation of intra-group, GST QST remittances including customs as well as installment payments
* Collaborates on special projects and contributes to the culture of continuous improvement
Knowledge and experience required
* Diploma in Accounting Technology, or equivalent;
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing SME with high transactional volume
Required skills and abilities
* Autonomous, structured person with good business sense;
* Good judgment, discretion, rigor and communication skills;
* Comfortable with computerized management systems; Advanced Excel
* Bilingualism French - English, oral and written.
