QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to work independently and organize work routine to meet performance expectations
• Follow safe work practices
• Safe ladder use is required
• Heavy lifting is required and proper body mechanics used
• Recent and relevant housekeeping experience
• Knowledge of Extendicare housekeeping policies and procedures and Best Practices principles is an asset
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
• Able to work different shifts days or evenings
• Able to work in both Laundry and Housekeeping
