Activity Aide

Job Description

The Activity Aide supports the delivery of meaningful recreational and therapeutic programs that enhance the physical, emotional cognitive and social well being of residents. Working as part of the interdisciplinary team, the Activity Aide assists with individual and group activities while promoting dignity, inclusion, choice and quality of life for all residents. Assist with planning, setting up and facilitating individual and group activities. Encourage and support residents participation, adapting activities to meet individual interests and care plans. Accurately document resident participation and observations according to home policy and ministry standards.
