Job Description
Under the supervision of the Client Services Team Leader this position is responsible for entering client and sample information into LIMS, preparing supplies and bottles requests for clients, and ensuring that projects are processed quickly and delivered on time to operations.
- Sorting coolers, samples and coolers and making note of any deficiencies
- Using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to log-in the samples and generate labels
- Preparing soils samples and rush projects to be processed by operations
Note this is a Scientific admin role and no analytical testing is carried out.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of IT and PC applications and software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,etc.)
- Good communication skills, work effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of environmental samples considered an asset
- Self-starter, ambitious and energetic
- Laboratory experience considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent telephone and people skills
- Lifting heavy coolers is a requirement up to 50 Lbs

- Working hours Starting at 00:00 (midnight) finishing at 08:00
- 37,5 hours per week
- Temporary contract until December 2024
