Postdoctoral fellow – Coating Development and Surface Treatments for Aerospace Applications

• Ph.D. (obtained within the last 5 years) in the field of smart coating, polymeric coating, surface engineering, paint technology, surface treatment, anti-icing materials, anti-corrosion materials

• Good knowledge in one or multiple of the following field chemistry of polymers, surface treatment, surface characterization techniques

• Proven track of record in scientific collaboration through publication, conference presentation, workshops, etc.

• Good skills and experience in research laboratory

• Be a good team player with problem-solving attitude

• Strong publication record in significant journals and conferences in polymer science and related fields.

• Fluency in spoken and written in English (intermediate or advanced level)

• Fluency in French , an asset.

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Teams and SharePoint environment.

• Excellent adaptability, organization, analysis and synthesis skills.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment.

• Rigorous follow-up and attention to detail.

• Creativity and initiative.

• Positive and collaborative attitude.

This postdoctoral fellowship would start as soon as possible. A contract of 1 year will be offered. Following a performance review and available funds, this fellowship could be renewed annually for an up to 2 additionally years.

Any additional change would be subject to the professor's approval.
