Reporting to the Director - LNG Operations, the Supervisor Hagar Operations is responsible for the safe and effective operations and maintenance troubleshooting of all mechanical equipment, engines and compressors associated with LNG Facilities at Hagar and related facilities.

What You Will Do:
  • Ensure the execution of safe, reliable and efficient operation & maintenance plans for the Hagar LNG facility and related facilities.

  • Develop and ensure execution of maintenance plans to ensure the integrity of the Hagar LNG Plant and that it can be operated safely, reliably, efficiently and cost effectively.

  • Provide leadership of the Hagar LNG Plant team, including the execution of plans and priorities aligned with LNG Operational Excellence, Enbridge goals, and determining appropriate resource requirements, succession planning & career development. Support Management with collective agreement and labor strategies.

  • Preparation in developing major O&M and capital budgets and forecasts and producing yearly resource plans.

  • As a member of the LNG management team, contribute to and support the delivery and implementation of operational excellence and the promotion of a high-performance, safety-focused, culture.

  • Support the operations team taking on 24/7 shift leadership as required, must be flexible to take on shifts with little notice and fill Emergency Response Plan roles.

Who You Are:Required:
  • Related university degree and 5 plus years’ experience; or ten plus years related experience; or, equivalent mix of formal education and experience

  • Strong leadership skills to oversee a wide scope of operations

  • Strong interpersonal skills that include consensus-building, negotiation, and facilitating change

  • Results oriented, highly motivated, able to work independently and lead a team

  • Proficient working with software applications including Microsoft Office applications; Centralized Maintenance Management Systems

Preferred:

  • Experience in Operations, Maintenance, or Engineering is preferred

  • Working knowledge of LNG Operations or similar Processing experience

Working Conditions:
  • On call and standby rotation is required

  • Overtime and out of town travel may be required

  • Must maintain permanent residence within geographic area

Salary:
  • Ranges from $110,000 - $150,000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
