What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of a Technical Field Support Crew.

  • Accountabilities include completion of pipeline and station installations projects including but not limited to new installs, replacements, relocations, abandonments etc.

  • Accountable for the safe and reliable planned isolation and gas handling activities of the distribution assets in a specific geographic area.

  • Directly lead and/or support emergency response activities which include but are not limited to isolations, bypassing, installations, and repairs.

  • Directly lead, supervise, and manage a team of employees to ensure work execution is preformed safely, to quality standards and meets all required service levels.

  • Responsible for the completion of project estimating and forecasting.

  • Accountable for overall oversight of service contract resources that support the crew’s activities daily.

  • Accountable for prioritizing personal, worker, customer, and public safety, and contributing to Enbridge’s safety culture.

  • Accountable for meeting targeted service levels for company and customer generated work while ensuring safety, quality, customer and cost requirements are met.

  • Works closely with Work Management staff to ensure effective work planning and completion for all required TFS project execution and task completion.

  • Manage escalated customer service or contractor issues.

  • Responsible for developing, fostering, and maintaining critical external relationships including contractors, MOL, MOE, TSSA and municipal partners.

  • Support the area’s work efforts towards achieving externally focused objectives related to franchise and municipal partnerships.

  • Responsible for the long-term distribution plant life and integrity related to conditions and procedures (including diagnosis/ repair/replacement).

  • Supports and ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Responsible for the resolution of all Ombudsman/Voice of the Customer service issues.

  • Lead project teams or initiatives, as the need arises.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree and seven-plus years’ experience OR nine‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • High technical proficiency that can provide expertise to a team.

  • Leads all aspects of the development and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring coordination of resources and internal/external partners.

  • Coaches, mentors and motivates to ensure objectives are translated to group’s activities.

  • Day to day leadership of a team and delivery of related services.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is comprised of a combination of field (80%) and Office (20%) work. A Valid Ontario G class driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.

  • Travel within a set geography is required daily.

  • Travel beyond a set geography is required occasionally.

  • On Call Rotation - evenings and weekends are required.
