The location in Port Alberni, BC, is seeking talent to fill the position of Red Seal Machinist. This job is permanent and full-time.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Ability to perform manual machining and repair functions (there’s no CNC equipment on site).
- Working with preventative maintenance programs and documenting accurate maintenance records (CMMS).
- Working with a wide array of precision tools.
- Ability to read, create, and interpret machine drawings.

- Communicate updates to supervisor to maintain goals.
Required Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Red Seal certification.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in related industrial environment.
- An uncompromising approach to safety.
- Ability to work in a team or independently.
- Available for mill 12 hour operational shift schedules.
Salary rate: $48.66 per hour as per the Collective Agreement.
