The location in Port Alberni, BC, is seeking talent to fill the position of Red Seal Electrician. This job is permanent and full-time..
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production related equipment to ensure proper and safe operation of all production systems.
- Install new electrical control systems and maintain existing control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines in an industrial setting, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Design, layout, program and calibrate new equipment and installations.

- Utilize the Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Commitment to working within and creating a safe and healthy work environment.

- Respond to production calls during downtime.
- Communicate updates to supervisor to maintain goals.
Required Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Red Seal certification.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in related industrial environment.
- An uncompromising approach to safety.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Available for mill 12 hour operational shift schedules.
Salary rate: $48.66 per hour as per the Collective Agreement.
