The Deloitte Technology Disaster Recovery and Technology Resilience Leader is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously maturing the technology resiliency framework across Deloitte Technology. Reporting to the Director of Process Optimization and Service Assurance, this role drives the enterprise-wide strategy for IT disaster recovery, in alignment with business continuity and operational resilience to ensure critical technology services remain available, recoverable, and aligned to business priorities. The individual partners closely with technology leaders, architects, engineers, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders (Global Security Office, Technology Risk Office, member firm BC/DR Leaders) to develop, socialize, and validate comprehensive recovery and resiliency plans through regular testing, governance, and continuous improvement. This leader will design, implement, and integrate recovery & resiliency processes, programs, and procedures using industry best practices and recognized frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, PMBOK, and CMMI.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive Technology Disaster Recovery & Resiliency practice within DT, including governance, standards, planning, testing, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with competency area leads and key stakeholders to identify action owners, define accountabilities, and ensure timely execution, testing, and adherence to IT disaster recovery & resiliency plans.
- Design, enhance, and maintain resiliency processes, standards, and controls to protect, sustain, and recover hardware and software operations throughout the full technology lifecycle.
- Lead the design, coordination, and execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities across service & product teams and related, supporting functions.
- Collaborate with technology and business leaders to define the resiliency roadmap, strategy, objectives, key performance indicators, and success metrics for BCP, DR, and broader technology resilience initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the execution and effectiveness of resiliency plans, including periodic exercises, functional recovery testing, tabletop simulations, and remediation of identified gaps.
- Ensure alignment of resiliency strategies with the overall information technology strategy, enterprise risk posture, security requirements, and other IT service management processes.
- Own and maintain all relevant process documentation, implementation guidance, operating procedures, testing evidence, metrics, and leadership reporting related to technology resiliency.
- Produce and deliver key outputs including resiliency strategies, recovery plans, testing schedules, executive dashboards, metrics, and risk or audit reports.
- Partner with Controls and Assurance teams to integrate resiliency requirements into audit readiness activities, ensure testing evidence is current, and support internal and external audits through issue tracking and remediation oversight.
- Manage the cost, risk, performance, and service quality attributes associated with resiliency-related programs, tools, and capabilities.
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports by fostering a high-performance environment centered on client service, teamwork, accountability, recognition, and mutual respect.
- Support employee development through goal setting, performance feedback, succession planning, and training oversight to ensure completion of required departmental and company learning programs.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Management, or a related field required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a complex business and information systems environment.
• At least 4 years of experience in a managerial or senior managerial leadership capacity.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, and Technology Resilience.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT support processes, operational controls, and service management functions.
• Strong understanding of industry frameworks and best practices such as ITIL, COBIT, PMBOK, and CMMI.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving enterprise-wide resiliency initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Management or related field.
• ITIL v3 or v4 certification is not required but is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM or similar service management platforms is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
