Description
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who performs a variety of tasks having to do with the reconditioning, repair and maintenance of buildings, as well as sanitary or mechanical installations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Diploma of professional studies from a school recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport in one or the other trades or profession the incumbent practices, all in conformity with the Loi sur la formation et la qualification professionnelles de la main-d’oeuvre or possess an equivalent competence;
• Diploma or certificate in Carpentry.
Experience:
• One (1) year of relevant experience in the maintenance and general repair of a building;
• One (1) year of relevant experience in carpentry.
Knowledge and Abilities:
• Manual dexterity;
• Physical ability to push, pull and lift heavy loads;
• Autonomous;
• Sense of accountability, resourcefulness and vigilance;
• Team work capabilities;
• Practical and attentive to details.
LANGUAGE
• Fluent in English;
• Fluency in Cree or French is an asset;
OTHER
• Valid driver’s license;
